TAIT Organises Winter Mela 2016 for its members on 23rd Dec 2016.
TAIT, the leading IT Association of India, as part of its networking meets organised the Winter Mela 2016 program for its members. The much awaited event was already creating ripples of excitement since about 3 weeks prior to the event. This is one event which members wait for almost a year said Parag Shah, Director TAIT, who along with fellow directors Ajay Parekh and Devang Thakore were creating the framework for the event at the venue. Parag oversaw the execution of almost the entire event. The event which is considered a marquee event in the entire IT community Pan India, attracted about 600 enthusiastic members, their families and guests from the IT industry.
The event was conceptualised by Rahul Zaveri, Manish Kapasi and assisted by Directors Samir Mehta, Magan Gangani and Kripashankar Chaube. The theme was Bollywood Nite and huge cutouts of cult personalities of the Cine world were all around the venue where the stars of the night were the esteemed TAIT members and their loved ones. The excellent backdrops provided photoops and selfie moments which were lapped up by the guests.
The prevalent bonhomie at the Royal Beach Garden, Juhu ignited and rejuventated memories of members. Umesh Ashar who has been handling guest registrations since several years said that he was overwhelmed with the enthusiasm going by the serpentine queues at the entrance. The highlight of the event was the Bollywood quiz played on the large LED screen which ended in a nail bitting finish.
The DJ dishing our hit after hit resulted in the high energy levels of the young and not so young. Guests danced away shedding all inhibitions and rocked the floor.
Children kept the tattoo artist busy, it was the ladies thronging to the Nail Art counter. There were plenty of prizes for the children to win at the special game counters.
Viren Bavishi and Samir Parekh, Directors who overlooked the F&B arrangements along with Pravin Dhoka and Girish Rathod left no stone unturned to ensure that the lavish spread not only gave lots of food options but left ever lasting gastronomical memories to savor.
There were special Family gifts and Vikram Mehta of Techmatrix also pitched in with special Kaspersky packs.
Members reciprocated the efforts of the TAIT Winter Mela team with choicest accolades and feedback for putting up what could arguably be, India's best Association event. Himanshu of Meentack, Krunal Gandhi of Syscon and Vikas Shah of Impetus, to name a few were amongst the members who outpoured their sentiments and mentioned that the entire community is looking forward to the next version of the event.
The event sponsored by Acer, IDFC bank, Digisol, Savera Marketing, Iball Edimax and XPro ended on a high note with all the Directors lead by Rushabh Shah, President TAIT along with the sponsors addressed the august gathering.
